Types of Programs
Community Programs
Our Community programs are offered to libraries, schools, parks, senior living homes, scout meetings, and more! Just pick which program you’d like and we’ll bring the animals to you! Programs typically run for 45 minutes followed by 20-30 minutes for reptile interaction opportunities. Audience members can have a truly hands-on experience while holding the reptiles after just having learned about them!
Topic ideas: Coexisting with snakes, Turtles of North Carolina, Reptile Fears & Myths, What is Wildlife Rehabilitation and Reptiles Around The World.
Outreach Events
Engaging with the community in fun interactive ways can help folks gain hands on knowledge that will stick with them when they encounter wildlife in their communities.
We have interactive displays, and educational materials for all ages that are engaging at booth style events. We may even bring a couple of our animal ambassadors weather permitting.
